DIMOS sharpens its profile: Focus on air cargo as a strategic growth agenda
DIMOS sharpens its course. Air cargo projects as a growth path: scalable vehicles and system solutions for higher throughput and stable processes.
DIMOS is sharpening its course. With a forward-looking approach, the company is focusing on air cargo projects, building on successful references, a growing customer base, and rising air freight volumes. As a systems provider, DIMOS combines its vehicles with scalable system solutions. The goal: higher throughput, reliable and sustainable 24/7 processes, and measurable efficiency in terminal and ramp operations.
A strategy built on proven performance
DIMOS is concentrating its activities on vehicles, systems, and services for air cargo projects across the entire process chain. This focus spans terminal/indoor ULD handling and outdoor ULD handling, express carriers, airside and landside ramp operations, as well as comparable environments at high-traffic cargo locations. The decision is based on proven customer feedback and successful projects over recent years and leverages the strengths of the HUBTEX Group. Across the group, concept development, engineering, manufacturing, and service work seamlessly together to deliver projects from consulting and layout planning through commissioning and service, all from a single source.
Solutions built for high-throughput cargo handling
A central element of the vehicle portfolio is the X-Way Mover. Depending on configuration, this multifunctional vehicle can take on the roles of up to five different systems, for example: a transfer vehicle, pallet mover, ULD transfer unit, or storage and retrieval system ensuring a consistently controlled material flow. In reference projects, the X-Way Mover accelerates ULD handling with high availability while reducing space requirements and operating costs. Its 360° steering enables seamless switching between longitudinal and lateral travel in the tightest spaces. Indoor and outdoor variants, different load capacities, and modular superstructures provide the technical flexibility needed to respond to changing volumes, peak periods, and infrastructure conditions. These vehicles often must be integrated into existing processes and operational requirements.
Complete systems, not just equipment
As a systems provider, DIMOS combines mobile and stationary equipment with layout, controls, and safety concepts to create integrated solutions. DIMOS stands for an end-to-end approach: from analysis, simulation, and design through manufacturing, installation, and commissioning to training, documentation, and support. Repeatable standards and clearly defined interfaces ensure quality, short ramp-up times, and scalable expansions, whether for a single project or multi-site network operations. DIMOS is committed to translating air cargo processes into efficient, innovative products and developing future-ready systems. In doing so, DIMOS actively helps shape sustainable, resource-efficient air freight logistics.
Growth by design
DIMOS is proactively investing in air cargo projects that deliver measurable impact: greater cost efficiency per square meter, stable 24/7 operations, and a low total cost of ownership. Building on this foundation, the company continues to develop its solutions, from the X-Way Mover as the core vehicle to complementary stationary solutions such as ULD transfer and repositioning units, dock interfaces for truck docks, and conveyor lines. The goal remains the same: to guide operators safely through growth and peak phases with reliable, scalable vehicle and system solutions for daily operations.
